Bollywood star Alia Bhatt of late took a break from her busy schedule for a scenic getaway to Spain with her best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and their close-knit girl gang. Akansha has now shared a photo dump on social media, giving followers a glimpse of their fun-filled trip.

The group made the most of Spain’s coastal waters, taking yacht rides and jumping into the deep blue sea together. In some pictures, the friends were seen soaking up the Mediterranean sun. Alia sported a stylish beach look, wearing a bikini with an eyelet white lace cover-up and a printed headscarf as she lounged with her friends on the rocky shore.

Notably, The girl squad also dressed up for evening outings, posing in elegant midi and maxi dresses against scenic hillside backdrops and rooftop views. Alia and her friends explored local sights together, including taking a ride on a classic wooden tram. The photo dump also featured candid moments of Alia and Akansha hugging and enjoying drinks while watching the sunset. Alia quickly reacted to the post by liking it, while her mother, Soni Razdan, commented, “best girls in the world.”
As per the latest buzz, Alia was of late seen as a bridesmaid at her BFF Akansha Ranjan Kapoor’s wedding. Akansha tied the knot with filmmaker Sharan Sharma in an intimate wedding ceremony in the garden of her family home in Mumbai. Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor performed at the wedding festivities, and videos of their dance performances went widely shared on social media.
In further updates, Alia was most of late seen in a cameo appearance in the movie Don’t Be Shy, which was also backed by her production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions. The movie premiered on Prime Video.
On top of that, She will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War. The first look at her character showed her dressed in a magenta-red outfit with an elaborate headpiece, giving the appearance of a cabaret performer. She was seen wearing a crop top and a thigh-high slit skirt, seemingly for a dance sequence.
Love & War brings Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal together as the lead trio, marking the first time the three actors have worked together in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie. The makers have revealed little about the story so far, but Love & War is as per reports set against the backdrop of war and is described as a period romantic drama. Earlier reports have suggested that Ranbir and Vicky play Indian Air Force officers whose lives become intertwined with Alia’s character, setting up a love triangle against the backdrop of the larger conflict. The movie is scheduled to rollout on January 21, 2027.
