As per the latest buzz, The haul also included 27 silver and 37 bronze medals, putting India ahead of Uzbekistan, which also won 21 golds but fewer silvers. China topped the standings with 169 golds, followed by Japan and South Korea.
In further updates, The last day of the Games was critical for the country, with India collecting nine medals, five of them gold. 
On top of that, The hockey teams completed a rare double, with the women beating China 1-0 on Friday and the men defeating Malaysia 5-1 on Saturday. Both sides also secured qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. 
India also won both the men's and women's titles in cricket and kabaddi.
