Mirzapur The Movie ticket-window earnings day 12 : Mirzapur The Movie has proven to be one of the biggest releases of the year, as seen by its unstoppable run at the ticket-window. The gangster action thriller, which is a spin-off of the beloved series, brings back actors Divyenndu, Pankaj Tripathi , and Ali Fazal. After a stellar first week, the movie has seen a dip in the second week. Let us take a closer look.

Ahead of rollout, most trade experts estimated an opening of ₹ 18-20 crore rupees for the movie. But Mirzapur defied those expectations and managed to collected ₹ 25.75 crore rupees. The collection even surpassed hits such as Saiyaara ( ₹ 22 crore rupees) and Awarapan 2 ( ₹ 21.50 crore rupees). The first weekend was huge, with Sunday haul standing at ₹ 36 crore rupees- its highest single-day collection so far. By the end of first week, the movie had managed to collect ₹ 148.45 crore rupees.
Meanwhile, The second week started strong, with the movie minting ₹ 9.50 crore rupees. The second weekend went on to draw double-digit numbers. The dip started on the second Monday, as Mirzapur The Movie collected ₹ 5.5 crore rupees. As per the latest update on Sacnilk, Mirzapur The Movie has managed to collect ₹ 4.18 crore rupees , its lowest so far. The total collection of the movie now stands at ₹ 194.38 crore rupees . It is expected to cross the ₹ 200 crore rupees mark by the end of this week.
Notably, The movie brings back the lawless world of Mirzapur, where the battle for power continues amid a barrage of bullets, betrayals and bloody rivalries. The movie is set in 2018, hinting at an untold chapter from the first season of the show. It marks the first big-screen outing for the Mirzapur universe, which began as a streaming series in 2018 and went on to become one of India's most successful OTT franchises over the course of three seasons.
As per the latest buzz, It also features actors Rasika Dugal, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee, who are reprising their roles. Actors Jitendra Kumar , Ravi Kishan, and Sonal Chauhan were newly added to the movie. Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur: The Movie is directed by Gurmeet Singh, written by Puneet Krishna, and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The movie is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani.
