As per the latest buzz, Meanwhile, Akshay is all set to play the first negative character of his career in Haiwaan. In conversation with HT City of late, Akshay had shared, "As the title goes, I am playing Haiwaan and my character has no grey shades, he’s out and out evil. I always wanted to play a psycho on-screen. With my last four-five films, I have tried to switch between completely different genres: comedy, horror, action, drama. This is my first time playing evil in the truest sense. I like to constantly challenge myself and Haiwaan is that challenge for me.” The movie pits Saif Ali Khan against him, and is directed by Priyadarshan.
In further updates, Rishabh Suri writes for the daily Entertainment & Lifestyle supplement HT City. From Bollywood to Hollywood, from Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam films, to OTT and television- he covers it all.
