Manoj Bajpayee's ‘Last Man in Tower’ to hit theatres on September 11

New Delhi, Star Rana Daggubati's Spirit Media will bring "Last Man in Tower", an adaptation of Aravind Adiga's bestselling novel, to Indian theatres on September 11.
Adding to this, Manoj Bajpayee's ‘Last Man in Tower’ to hit theatres on September 11 Directed by Ben Rekhi, the movie is headlined by star Manoj Bajpayee along with Boman Irani and Divya Dutta.
Meanwhile, The story has been adapted for the screen by Sooni Taraporevala, known for her collaborations with Mira Nair on movies such as "Salaam Bombay!", "Mississippi Masala" and "The Namesake".
Notably, "Last Man in Tower" centres on Masterji , a retired school teacher who finds himself standing alone when members of his community begin making choices that challenge his convictions. As the possibility of a different life emerges for those around him, his decision to hold on to what he believes is right begins to strain relationships and loyalties.
As per the latest buzz, Dutta features as Mrs Puri, whose hopes and choices come into conflict with his, while Irani essays a pivotal role.
In further updates, The movie explores community, family, compromise and the choices people make when an opportunity to change their lives comes their way.
On top of that, Rekhi shared bringing the movie to life was a fulfilling experience, particularly the opportunity to see Bajpayee and Irani share the screen for the first time.
"The most rewarding part has been witnessing the power of Manoj and Boman - two giants of cinema - working together for the first time in this movie. Divya brings an incredible depth and emotional strength to the ensemble," he shared.
