CJP's response to protests Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) chief spokesperson Saurav Das on Tuesday shared the "entire system is coming down crumbling" and questioned the government's handling of what he described as apathy, incompetence and corruption. Their key demands include a single-tier examination for BPSC-TRE 4, greater transparency in the recruitment process, recruitment exams conducted by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC), and equal opportunities for Hindi-medium candidates. Citing alleged irregularities in the 70th BPSC examination, the protesters have also demanded that the exam be cancelled.
Meanwhile, Patna student protest LIVE: Thousands of students clashed with Bihar Police in Patna on Tuesday after they were stopped from marching to the chief minister's residence to press their demands. Protesters hurled stones and faced water cannons and lathi-charge as police tried to disperse the crowd.
Notably, Most of the protesters were aspirants for the Teachers' Recruitment Exams to be conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) next month.
As per the latest buzz, They had revealed a 'Mukhyamantri Awas Gherao' to demand that the written examination be conducted in a single stage, instead of being split into preliminary and main exams.
In further updates, Patna student protest LIVE: The Bihar government will organise monthly 'Student Support Camps' in educational institutions across the state to address students' complaints and suggestions, with authorities directed to ensure their final resolution within 30 days.
On top of that, According to a press rollout issued by the Bihar Chief Minister's Office, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary inaugurated the first such camp at Bihar College of Engineering in Bidupur under the 'Sabka Samman, Jeevan Aasaan' campaign, part of the 'Saat Nishchay-3' initiative.
During the programme, Chaudhary interacted with students and sought feedback on the academic system, facilities and issues they were facing. He also inspected an information-cum-assistance counter set up at the college's administrative-cum-academic building.
