Awarapan 2 ticket-window earnings day 11: Awarapan 2 is proving that its ticket-window run is far from slowing down. After a strong second weekend, the Emraan Hashmi -led sequel faced its second Monday with a major drop in audience turnout. However, despite the weekday slowdown, the movie managed to stay steady and continued to attract audiences across cinemas. The movie arrived in theatres on August 14 alongside Sunny Deol's Batwara 1947 and it has left the latter behind, giving it a tough competition.

Awarapan 2 ticket-window earnings According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Awarapan 2 collected ₹ 2.75 crore rupees net in India on Day 11, August 24, taking its total India net collection to ₹ 139 crore rupees. The movie recorded around 10% overall occupancy across 11,344 shows on its second Monday. The movie saw a 68.6% drop on its second Monday, collecting ₹ 2.75 crore rupees net compared to ₹ 8.75 crore rupees net on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Awarapan 2 opened strongly at the ticket-window with ₹ 22 crore rupees net on Day 1. The Independence Day holiday gave the movie an even bigger push on Day 2, when it recorded a 53.4% jump and collected ₹ 33.75 crore rupees net, its highest single-day collection so far. It followed this up with ₹ 26 crore rupees net on Day 3, taking its opening weekend total to ₹ 81.75 crore rupees. The movie crossed ₹ 100 crore rupees in its first week and ended the opening week with ₹ 113.50 crore rupees net in India.
Notably, The next big milestone for Awarapan 2 is the ₹ 150 crore rupees mark in India, while its worldwide run is even closer to another major achievement. With ₹ 196.55 crore rupees already in the bag globally, the movie needs just ₹ 3.45 crore rupees more to enter the ₹ 200 crore rupees club. If it gets there, this movie will become Emraan Hashmi's first solo movie to cross ₹ 200 crore rupees worldwide.
As per the latest buzz, Directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Bhatt, Awarapan 2 brings Emraan Hashmi back as Shivam Pandit. The movie also features Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi in key roles, with Puran Gabbi, Anirudh Rawal, Surendar Vicky, Vijayant Kohli and Atul Kumar rounding out the cast.
In further updates, With the movie excelling in theatres, is Awarapan 3 in the works? Writer Bilal Siddiqui of late spoke to Hindustan Times and shared, “As for part three, Vishesh (Bhatt, the movie’s producer) and I have not had time to speak beyond just a few messages after the movie came out. I am yet to hear from him what his plans are. I hope he thinks of it soon, of taking it forward soon, and then we'll see what it is. I'm very excited.”
