Taapsee Pannu hopes 'Gandhari' satisfies fans seeking her return to action

New Delhi, Making her long-awaited return to the action genre with her soon-to-release movie "Gandhari", star Taapsee Pannu hopes to finally satisfy her followers who have been eager to see her take on more action-oriented roles following the success of "Baby" and "Naam Shabana".
Adding to this, Taapsee Pannu hopes 'Gandhari' satisfies followers seeking her return to action Pannu, who plays Bani in "Gandhari", shared audiences had been urging her for years to return to the action genre.
Meanwhile, However, the star deliberately stayed away from the genre, citing the physical demands involved in performing action sequences.
Notably, "Since 'Baby' and 'Naam Shabana', people have been after me to do action but I've been avoiding it because it takes a lot of physical effort for me to do action.
As per the latest buzz, "First of all, I don't enjoy hitting people physically. Even though my image says otherwise. I generally don't like hitting people. I'm a non-violent person that way," shared Pannu told PTI on the sidelines of the ongoing 'Jagran Movie Festival' here.
In further updates, The 39-year-old star also noted that the films she typically works in do not always have the budgets for techniques such as face replacement or extensive green-screen sequences, meaning she often has to perform the action herself.
On top of that, "My films generally don't have the budget to have face replacement or the easy green-screen action. I have to do everything myself. So it can become physically very taxing," she shared.
Besides the physical demands, Pannu shared she wanted her return to action to offer audiences something beyond what they had seen from her before.
