According to a spokesperson, “Kartik Aaryan sustained a knee injury while performing an action sequence on the set of his movie. His surgery was completed successfully, and he is now back home, resting and recovering. He will be back on set soon.”
Adding to this, The injury as per reports occurred while Kartik was shooting an action sequence for his soon-to-release project with filmmaker Kabir Khan. The movie, which is yet to be titled, marks the star’s second collaboration with the director after Chandu Champion . Kartik is shared to be playing a kickboxing coach in the sports drama, which is inspired by the story of kickboxer Tajamul Islam.
Meanwhile, The star had been undergoing extensive physical preparation for the physically demanding role. However, he suffered the knee injury while filming one of the action sequences. Following the incident, Kartik underwent medical treatment and was advised to take rest after completing the surgery.
