Govinda’s manager denies actor plans to marry Komal Rani Swarnkar, shades Sunita Ahuja: ‘Must be something in her mind’
Here's the latest update from the Bollywood world:
The ongoing marital tension between Govinda and Sunita Ahuja has taken another turn after Sunita claimed that she withdrew her divorce petition because of the star’s alleged plans to marry star Komal Rani Swarnkar . Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, has now dismissed the claim, insisting that there is no question of a second marriage and expressing hope that the couple can resolve their differences.
Adding to this, Sunita Ahuja claims Govinda is planning second marriage with Komal Rani Swarnkar. Govinda's manager dismisses Sunita Ahuja's claims In an interview with India Today, Govinda’s manager expressed shock over Sunita’s claims and shared, “I am hearing this from you. Aisa kuch nahi hai aur nahi hoga. Koi doosri shaadi nahi ho rahi (There's nothing like this, nor will it happen. There's no second marriage happening). She is his wife, and there must be something going on in her mind that she made those claims.”
Meanwhile, He added that if Govinda were really planning a second marriage, he would have been the one to file for divorce rather than Sunita. He shared, “They are both mature people, and while Govinda has never spoken a word against Sunita in public, she has been the one washing dirty linen out. I am sure they both want the best for themselves and their children. We don't know what came over her that she took the decision back, but we can hope that things iron out. It's also for the betterment of the kids, for they really get affected by all this negativity.”
Notably, During a phone conversation with Rakhi Sawant, Sunita claimed she decided to withdraw her divorce case because Govinda and Komal were allegedly planning to get married. “Maine kal divorce case wapas le liya kyunki woh shaadi karne ke plan me the woh log (I withdrew the divorce case yesterday because they were planning to get married),” Sunita shared, explaining why she withdrew the petition.
As per the latest buzz, It all started when Govinda and Komal were spotted together at the airport. Following their appearance together, Sunita made strong comments about the star. In conversation with paparazzi, she called Govinda “Komal's sugar daddy” while questioning their equation. Later, Govinda warned Sunita against defaming him and asked her to “stay in limits” while in conversation with the paparazzi. He also claimed that Sunita was backed by a Bollywood gang trying to bring him down.
In further updates, Govinda and Sunita got married in 1987. In 2024, Sunita filed for divorce, and the petition as per reports cited adultery, cruelty and desertion under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act. After Govinda’s recent remarks, Sunita was seen exiting Mumbai’s Bandra Family Court on August 19, accompanied by her son Yashvardhan.
On top of that, Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, later verified that she had withdrawn the divorce petition she had filed around two years ago. “It has been going on for two years, but it's finally over now. Today, Sunita Ji submitted a petition for withdrawal at the family court in Bandra,” Shashi told HT City.
