According to an exclusive report by Filmfare, Khan has begun a major weight-loss programme as part of his preparation for Lalkaara . The physical transformation is as per reports an important aspect of the character, as the star is set to portray a 25-year-old despite being significantly older in real life.
Adding to this, A source close to the development told Filmfare, "Aamir Khan is on a massive weight-loss programme for Ashutosh Gowariker's next movie. Touted as a sports drama, Lalkaara will see the star playing a 25-year-old. Aamir is known to go all out when it comes to physically transforming for a role, and this time too, he is putting in a great deal of work to look convincing."
Meanwhile, Known for adapting his physical appearance according to the demands of his characters, Khan has previously undergone significant transformations for several of his films.
