On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day , many Bollywood celebrities have taken to social media to share messages of national pride and peace. Shah Rukh Khan also joined the celebrations and shared a photo of himself with the national flag in the background.

'There’s something special about being Indian' Along with the photo, SRK shared a poignant message about the spirit of being Indian. He wrote on Instagram, "A very Happy Independence Day to all.. The movie holds special significance for his followers as it will mark the theatrical debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan, following her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies, which was rolled out on Netflix.
It is reported that King draws heavy inspiration from the 1994 classic Léon: The Professional, with the superstar playing the role of a veteran hitman who steps in to protect a young girl.
