Bollywood star Sohail Khan of late participated in the reality show Alliance. Following his stint on the show, the star hosted a success party at his residence, with photos from the celebration soon surfacing online. However, his post-weight-loss look became a topic of discussion, with some social media users trolling him and speculating that he had used Ozempic, while others commented that he looked even older than his brother Salman Khan. Now, star Ashmit Patel , who is Alvira Khan 's rakhi brother, has come to Sohail's defense and hit back at the trolls.

The personality and physique he carried. He is such a good human being, soft spoken. Pick any of his interviews or watch Alliance, he speaks so softly and he is an amazing person. Logon ka kaam hai bolna, voh toh bolenge hi."
Meanwhile, Ashmit further urged the trolls to have some respect for his age and shared, "Everyone will age after sometimes. Don't you have parents who are aged? This is stupidity. Sabko ek zariya mila hai social media pe apna bhadas nikalne ka (Everyone has got a platform with social media to take out their frustration). Go and find the meaning of troll and you'll know what you are actually."
Notably, The movie Fight Club: Members Only, which Ashmit mentioned, was a 2006 action thriller that boasted an ensemble cast including Suniel Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Dino Morea, Dia Mirza, Rahul Dev, Aashish Chaudhary, Sohail, Zayed Khan, Amrita Arora, Ashmit, Neha Dhupia and Kulbhushan Kharbanda, among others. The movie failed at the ticket-window after receiving negative reviews. However, Sohail's muscular and rugged look became a talking point.
As per the latest buzz, In Alliance, when Salman Khan visited Sohail to support him, the star opened up that he had lost 12 kg. As pictures from his post-Alliance party surfaced online, the internet was flooded with questions. While some followers expressed concern about Sohail's health, saying he looked "old and dull", others compared his appearance with that of his elder brothers, saying he "looks older than them". Many even speculated that he had taken supplements or Ozempic for weight loss.
In further updates, Ashmit was last seen in the Gujarati movie Layak Nalayakk. Helmed by Tanmay Sengupta, the movie also featured Hiten Kumar, Hitu Kanodia and Katha Patel in lead roles. Apart from acting, Ashmit also works as a DJ. He will be performing at Vagalumme in Goa on Independence Day.
