Urmila Matondkar shares cryptic note on love and loyalty as ex-husband Mohsin posts pictures of his second marriage

Urmila Matondkar 's ex-husband Mohsin Akhtar posted on Instagram to share a bunch of new pictures from his second marriage reception. He also penned a note for wife Nidhaa Bhatt and shared that she did not just become his wife but also his ‘home and peace’. Amid this, Urmila posted a cryptic note on ‘love and loyalty’ on her social media.
Adding to this, Did Urmila Matondkar hint at lack of loyalty in her marriage? What Mohsin posted Mohsin's post included pictures from the reception, where he wore a pink sherwani. Nidhaa looked resplendent in a red ensemble. In the caption, Mohsin wrote, "You didn’t just become my wife. You became my home, my peace, and my favorite part of every day. I’m grateful to Allah for bringing you into my life, and I promise to cherish you, stand by you, and love you through every chapter of our journey. Here’s to us, to forever, and to the beautiful life we’re about to build together. Thank you for being mine, my love. Forever grateful for you."

Notably, It was in June this year when Mohsin had revealed his second marriage. In an emotional note, he expressed gratitude for finding love again and beginning a new journey with his wife. It read, “Pure intentions, honest love, and a heart full of sabr and shukur. Keep your soul pure, heal along the way, and trust that Allah’s script is always better. In His perfect time, my gorgeous wifey @nidhab_ ,he rewarded me with your sincerity and blessed me. You brought light in my life. So thank you my love.”
As per the latest buzz, Mohsin was previously married to star Urmila. Reports of trouble in their marriage first surfaced in 2024. In September that year, a source close to them had as per reports shared that Urmila had filed for divorce in a Mumbai court.
In further updates, Urmila and Mohsin had tied the knot back on February 4, 2016 in an intimate ceremony. At the time, their wedding had made quite the waves, not only for being interfaith but also for the 10-year age gap between the duo. Things, however, appear to have soured over the nearly decade-long marriage.
On top of that, A businessman and model from Kashmir, Mohsin, and model Urmila first met at designer Manish Malhotra 's niece's wedding in 2014. As a matter of fact, Manish was among the few public figures present at their intimate nuptials when the duo took the plunge in 2016. Urmila and Mohsin had paid a visit to Amritsar's Golden Temple, followed by a Nikah.
