There have been several major leaks surrounding the soon-to-release Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, but now we have the full picture thanks to WinFuture . Don’t worry, it’s not just you – we find it pretty hard to spot the differences between this and the S25 FE picture too.
Adding to this, Instead of reusing the Exynos 2400 for a third time, the new FE model will feature the Exynos 2500 . The chip is fabbed on Samsung’s 3nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) node and features a 10-core CPU (1+7+2) and an Xclipse 950 GPU (based on AMD RDNA 3 with 8 work groups).
Meanwhile, The chipset will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage – right now is not the time to increase memory capacities. Even so, the Galaxy S26 FE will not be spared from a price hike – the 128GB model is expected to cost €800. That is €50 more than the S25 FE in the same configuration, which cost €750 at launch.
Notably, The new model will have the same overall dimensions – it will be 7.4mm thick and weigh 193g (that’s 3g more than its predecessor, but it won’t be noticeable). The phone will be rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.
As per the latest buzz, This is with the same 4,900mAh battery capacity. Naturally, the battery will support the same 45W fast wired and 15W wireless charging. Note that there is some talk of this being a Si/C battery - whether it is or it isn’t, the EPREL rating for charge cycles will go down from 2,000 on the S25 FE to 1,200. We saw the same with the Galaxy Z8 series. Anyway, the new chipset may help extend battery life – the official rating has the phone lasting 50 hours on a single charge, up from 42:37h for the previous model.
In further updates, The front will feature the Samsung special – a 6.7” Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 1,080 x 2,340px resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display will have a typical brightness of 1,200 nits, going up to 1,900 nits in high brightness mode. The front-facing camera will have a 12MP sensor and an f/2.2 fixed focus lens.
On top of that, The 50MP main (f/1.8) and 8MP telephoto with a 3x f/2.4 lens will use the same sensors as before . However, the ultra-wide will get a new 12MP sensor (replacing the old 12MP sensor). The main camera has a 8K at 30fps video mode, along with 4K at 60fps.
We don’t know the launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE – that may be the only thing that we don’t know about the phone. That shared, the S25 FE was revealed in September, so “next month” is a solid guess.
