Notably, Join our Whatsapp channel Balochistan [Pakistan], August 11 (ANI): Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch urged the international community to recognise the "independence" of Balochistan and criticized Pakistan for its ongoing repression at the hands of the Pakistani establishment. In a post on X he shared, "The six crore rupees people of Balochistan celebrate their national independence day every year on the 11th of August. Today we have reached a stage where we do not merely celebrate our independence, but demand from the world that the independence of Balochistan be recognised legally, politically, diplomatically and morally. Heartfelt congratulations and good wishes to the Baloch, Pashtun, Hindu, Sikh, Christian and brothers and sisters of all religions living in Balochistan on this sacred occasion of independence." "The Republic of Balochistan expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the brave mainstream media of the world, especially of India, think tanks, researchers, poets, writers, students, lawyers, civil society, the business community, religious leaders, parliamentarians and all brothers and sisters who have carried the voice of Balochistan to the global level and become the voice of our people. Moral support for the people of Balochistan must continue so that we can remove the cancer-like Pakistan from our land, Balochistan ," he added. Doubling down on Pakistan as it continues to curtail the freedoms in Balochistan , Mir Yar Baloch claimed that more than fifty thousand Baloch are still enduring inhuman atrocities in Pakistan's torture cells. "We will never forget them. The success of today's independence is owing to the immortal sacrifices of our great martyrs, thousands of political workers and prisoners," he shared.

As per the latest buzz, Recalling the strong history of sacrifices in Balochistan , he added, "The people of Balochistan have always stopped foreign invaders and forced them to withdraw from Balochistan . Pakistan may possess thousands of tanks, hundreds of warplanes, artillery and a large army, yet the army of Balochistan is ten times more powerful and successful than the army of Pakistan in physical, mental and fighting capability. The army of Balochistan is a hardy force capable of facing every situation and is ready to confront the professional armies of the world. In view of the area of Balochistan it requires a large army; therefore the Republic of Balochistan has prepared an army of five hundred thousand." In his post he urged member states of the United Nations, ASEAN, the African Union, the OIC, and Europe to break their silence and added that Balochistan with it rich resources can provide funds to alleviate issues pertaining global health and education. " Balochistan is one of the richest regions which, instead of begging like Pakistan, can provide substantial funds and aid to the world for health, education and human welfare. The United Nations should also thoroughly study the history of Balochistan ." In his post he attacked Pakistan and shared that the Pak Army has enforced shut down of mobile and internet services across areas in Balochistan . "To prevent the celebrations of Balochistan 's independence, Pakistan's occupying foreign army has shut down mobile and internet services. And in Balochistan , Kalat, Quetta, Khuzdar and some other areas, it has dug large trenches around military cantonments and police stations; this is clear proof of the fear and failure of Pakistan's army. In all areas of Balochistan , Pakistan's air force is still patrolling, drones are flying in the sky, and helicopters are conducting surveillance. But even under the shadow of cannons and guns, the people of Balochistan have celebrated independence in their respective areas and broken all of Pakistan's obstacles. Due to the internet shutdown, pictures, videos and reports are taking time to arrive, but very soon we will unveil Pakistan's terrorism and failure to the entire world," he shared. The region of Balochistan remains afflicted by a concerning trend of enforced disappearances, where some victims are eventually rolled out, while others face extended detention or fall victim to targeted killings. These violations of fundamental rights have heightened insecurity and distrust among the local population. The ongoing threat of arbitrary arrests and the lack of accountability continue to destabilise Balochistan , eroding efforts to restore peace, justice, and public trust in state institutions. (ANI)
