Delhivery posts Rs 2,931 Cr revenue in Q1 FY27; profit declines 65%

New Update Logistics company Delhivery reported a 27.8% year-on-year increase in revenue in Q1 FY27, while its profit declined sharply during the quarter.
Adding to this, Delhivery's revenue from operations grew to Rs 2,931 crore rupees in Q1 FY27 from Rs 2,294 crore rupees in Q1 FY26, according to its financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Meanwhile, The company primarily earns revenue from its logistics services, including warehousing, last-mile delivery, and the design and deployment of logistics management systems. Other income declined 12.3% to Rs 114 crore rupees in Q1 FY27 from Rs 130 crore rupees in the year-ago quarter. As a result, the company's total income rose 25.6% to Rs 3,045 crore rupees from Rs 2,424 crore rupees in Q1 FY26.
Notably, Freight handling and servicing costs remained Delhivery's largest expense, accounting for 71.45% of total expenses. The cost increased 31.4% to Rs 2,152 crore rupees in Q1 FY27 from Rs 1,638 crore rupees in the year-ago quarter.
As per the latest buzz, Employee benefit expenses increased 21.9% to Rs 429 crore rupees from Rs 352 crore rupees, while depreciation rose 28.6% to Rs 189 crore rupees from Rs 147 crore rupees. Finance costs remained flat at Rs 34 crore rupees, whereas other expenses climbed 33.5% to Rs 207 crore rupees from Rs 155 crore rupees.
In further updates, The company's total expenses rose 29.4% to Rs 3,012 crore rupees in Q1 FY27 from Rs 2,327 crore rupees in Q1 FY26.
On top of that, Despite the strong growth in revenue, Delhivery's profit declined 64.8% to Rs 32 crore rupees in Q1 FY27 from Rs 91 crore rupees in Q1 FY26. On a sequential basis, Delhivery's operating revenue increased 2.8% to Rs 2,930.73 crore rupees in Q1 FY27 from Rs 2,850 crore rupees in the preceding quarter, while its profit declined 55.9% to Rs 31.91 crore rupees from Rs 72.40 crore rupees during the same period.
