The trailer launch of 'Ramayana' in Delhi on Friday ended with an unexpected moment that became the highlight of the evening, as star and producer Yash made a surprise entry after the trailer was screened for the media. As the event appeared to be concluding, the auditorium went dark before dramatic lighting revealed Yash on stage. His arrival was met with loud applause, whistles and cheers from the audience.

Adding to this, The event brought together the movie's cast and creative team ahead of the trailer's public rollout on July 24.

Meanwhile, Yash, who plays Ravana in the movie and is also one of its producers alongside Namit Malhotra, addressed the gathering after taking the stage. "I'm really happy to be part of this wonderful, wonderful project. All credit should go to Namit Malhotra. Unhone mujhe iss paatra nibhane ka jo avkash diya, uske liye usse dhanyavaad kehta hu. Hindi seekhne ka abhi mauka mila. I think this is India's dream. Everybody who has been part of this movie has come with one vision, one conviction, to put our story on the global platform. A 1-minute-28-second clip, as per reports recorded during the exclusive Pratham Sankalp event in New Delhi, surfaced across social media platforms within hours of the screening. In response, producer Namit Malhotra and the movie's legal team have initiated an extensive anti-piracy operation to remove the leaked footage and identify its source. With the official trailer scheduled to rollout on July 24, the makers are urging followers to avoid unauthorized clips and experience the visuals as intended.

As per the latest buzz, Leaked 'Ramayana' Part 1 trailer triggers anti-piracy action The exclusive preview of Ramayana: Part 1 was meant only for invited guests attending the Pratham Sankalp event in New Delhi. However, shortly after the screening, a phone-recorded clip lasting approximately 1 minute and 28 seconds began circulating online.

In further updates, According to a Mid Day report, the trouble began almost immediately after the screening, when a roughly 88-second clip from the trailer began doing the rounds on social media. According to sources, the footage appears to have been recorded on an attendee's phone during the event, capturing Rama's entry sequence along with the moment he agrees to honour his father's promise to Kaikeyi.

On top of that, Producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari have since activated their anti-piracy partners and legal teams to identify and remove unauthorised uploads. A source close to the production shared the takedown effort has been underway since Saturday night, with the clip successfully pulled from Reddit by Sunday morning, though scrubbing it from X (formerly Twitter) has proven more difficult.
